A range of activities that include short bursts of speed involving you running as quickly as you are able to with the appropriate amount of recovery in-between each burst. Overall sessions last around 1 hour which includes a gentle jog to the start. Warm up before starting the activities. At the end there is a cool down run back to the The Windmill followed by some very important stretches.

2 options for social running
1 - 10.5 miles - Starting at 8.30am from Blakehurst car park (1st left off the A27 heading East after the Crossbush junction and then about a mile up the lane). We will run along the river to Arundel (2.75 miles), join the 5 milers to do the "one-hill" loop and then retrace our steps back to Blakehurst
2 - 5 miles - Starting at 9.00am from the ruins in Arundel town centre - to do the "one-hill" 5 mile loop as above
It will be hilly and muddy so be prepared. Sunday rules will apply so all are welcome, there will be catch-up pauses as necessary and no-one will be left behind.
This is our traditional venture out onto the streets of Littlehampton to try and spot as many festive light displays as we can. There will be up to 3 distances on offer but the whole emphasis is to have a bit of a run, a bit of a social and to see some sparkly coloured lights. There may even be mince pies for you on your return. Fancy dress optional or at least a Santa hat or two. Think about bringing some pennies to put into the displays that are raising money for local charities.
